How a Walk-in Clinic Can Help with Medical Care

Did you know that a walk-in clinic provides many of the same services offered by a family doctor? Most people think of a clinic as a place to go when there is an illness or emergency that requires care and the doctor's office is too busy to deal with it. This is a good reason to visit a walk-in clinic but it is not the only reason.

We can provide the care you need when you need it

Instead, we recommend that patients use our office as their primary doctor. Since we accept patients at a moments notice, it makes it far more likely that people will receive preventative medical care. We understand that life is incredibly busy and for most people, taking the time to plan a physical or annual exam six months in advance is not always easy to do.

Being able to get a physical on a slow afternoon at work or to have a check-up when there is nothing else planned is far more convenient. Thus we offer walk-in services among our many services.

How a walk-in clinic can help with medical care

#1. We make it easy to get an appointment

Instead of booking your calendar full of appointments, our clinic can treat the needs of patients on that specific day. Anyone who needs to see a doctor can simply walk in and get the help they require. We believe this is a better way to run our clinic because it ensures that people get the help they need. Instead of needing to anticipate when a health problem may occur.

#2. Diagnostic services are available here

We have a full variety of diagnostic services available at our clinic and this means that patients typically do not need to go elsewhere to have a test completed. We can draw blood here and send it off to the lab so that patients only need to make one stop.

#3. Our services are the same as a general physician or family doctor

There is nothing that a family doctor can do at their office that we cannot handle here. Things like an annual physical or a sports physical for children, for example, can be completed at our clinic without needing to schedule an appointment months and months in advance. We can also treat patients that have a sore throat, fever or are generally feeling unwell.

Our treatment options make it far easier to get medical help as necessary and makes it possible for us to replace a family doctor when it simply becomes inconvenient to visit their office. We are also an excellent resource for families who are new to the area and have not found a permanent physician yet.

Visit our walk-in clinic today

We make receiving medical care easier than ever anticipated. To find out how easy, simply walk into our clinic and speak with a physician.
